ABOUT THE UPPER HUNTER SPRING SPECKLE PARK SALE
Why it was created? And why the move?
The Speckles in the Capital Sale was started at Yass, NSW Australia by the principals of Rose Hill and Kikiamah Speckle Park Studs. The idea for the sale was to create the most diverse offering of Speckle Park genetics in Australia at this location given its close proximity to Beef and Dairy Producers and the suitability of the selling complex at Yass. Unfortunately, due to a lack of interest from local agents, the decision was made to move the sale to Scone where a sound relationship with McGraths Upper Hunter has already been established.
The sale will return to Yass when the time is right however, going forward the sale will now be known as the Upper Hunter Spring Speckle Park Sale.

WHAT makes the sale unique?
A great philosopher, Napoleon Hill, once said “It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed.” We share this philosophy and have acted to provide an opportunity for breeders to sell their cattle as well as create a supportive environment where seasoned breeders can mentor newer ones, advancing the entire breed. We encourage our vendors to be involved in the preparation of their sale cattle from start to finish, where possible. From discussions about breeding choices to working shoulder to shoulder to clip and photograph animals, we endeavour to help breeders to help themselves.
What is being sold?
On offer at the Upper Hunter Spring Speckle Park Sale are quality Speckle Park bulls and Speckle Park females from the widest Speckle Park genetics base of any sale. Speckle Park semen from leading Speckle Park bulls is offered as well as embryos from elite joining programs.
